Albeit geographically part of the Baltic nations and neighbour to Russia, Estonia walks to the beat of its very own drum. With one of the most well-preserved Old Towns in Europe and a swathe of sparsely populated countryside only a stone’s throw from Tallinn’s periphery, it’s no wonder Europe has embraced the tiny northern nation with open arms. Although I only spent a short time in country exploring the capital and her northern shores, I left with a lingering desire to return. Read about Tallinn to get inspired.
