It covers a tiny slither of the continent, long and thin like a chile, stretching from Peru to Patagonia. In fact, it's one of the slenderest countries in the world with a width of 240 km at its widest point. A diminutive size isn't indicative of Chile's diversity and beauty, though. With snow-capped mountains in the south, world-renowned wineries in the centre and Moai on Easter Island, there's no shortage of compelling travel experiences. Sadly, I was not able to spend much time in Chile and I'm yearning to return to uncover more. Although brief, I hope this overview of Chile is enough to get you thinking about the South American nation.
