Perhaps the most famous South American nation thanks to the untouched magnificence of Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail leading to its entrance, Peru is full of wonder. But there is more to the ancient land than Inca ruins: from jungle to Amazon Rainforest, Lake Titicaca and Pacific shores, Peru gives travellers plenty of value for their money. And little money you'll need, with developing world prices at every turn. My time and breadth of exploration in Peru were limited so I've written only about the experiences I did have and I've penned words of advice for you. Hopefully this brief overview of Peru will be helpful in getting you started.
