One of the planet's most picturesque nations, New Zealand epitomises natural beauty at its best. From the north to the south, there's no going past the natural splendour. Raw and rugged and nigh untouched, the imagery will infuse a healthy dose of vigor into every observer. It's alps and peaks and bays and beaches. It's also a lot more than beautiful imagery. New Zealand is a cultural gem, the result of a Maori-Caucasian fusion that's mostly tolerant and accepting. Don't let its diminutive size fool you: there's more packed into this gem than you'll ever anticipate. Take your time, hire transport (if you can) and uncover the beauty inherent to the Southern Pacific island nation. I visited the north island and look forward to returning to see the south.
