Bangladesh is a country fit for exploration by adventurous travellers, for those keen to explore a corner of the globe relatively unmarred by tourism. Not only is it unscathed by tourism, it is famously hospitable, welcoming one and all without ulterior motives much unlike some of its south Asian neighbours. It is also perhaps the greenest nation in the region, a country peppered with 700 meandering rivers, the result: a lush landscape and life on the water. Get on a boat while you're here: the perspective is unique and it gives you an opportunity to see local life up close. Visiting Bangladesh was one of the most rewarding travel experiences I've had to date, a country rich in kindness and abounding in natural beauty. Don't be surprised if you're the only visible foreigner walking the streets during your stay.
